Privacy, in plain words.
The app keeps to the device. The website keeps one list, only if you join it.
Riiiff is made by Jason Csizmadi at DiscoMoose. This policy covers the Riiiff iOS app, its launch waitlist and this website. Effective October 6, 2026.
The iOS app
The app works without an account. It has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not send what you add, what your kid plays, wishes, settings or anything else to us.
Riiiff plays music on Apple Music through Apple’s MusicKit. It asks for permission to use Apple Music on your device. Searching, playback and album artwork come from Apple, under Apple’s own privacy policy.
Your library, collections, packs, wishes and settings are saved on the device only. For each piece of music you add, Riiiff keeps its Apple Music ID and a small copy of its title, artist name and artwork link, so your kid’s screen works instantly and offline. Deleting the app deletes all of it. If you back up your device, that backup is managed by you and Apple.
Purchases are made through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your payment details.
Face ID or Touch ID is used only to open the grown-up area, through Apple’s system prompt. The app never sees your face or fingerprint data. The app does not use the microphone, camera, contacts or location.
The launch waitlist
Before Riiiff is out, grown-ups can leave an email address on this website to hear when it launches. The waitlist is for parents and guardians, not for kids.
We keep the email address and the time it was added, and nothing else. It is stored with Upstash, a database service we use through Vercel, in the United States. We use it for one thing: one email telling you Riiiff is available. We never sell it, share it or use it for advertising.
To stop the form being sent over and over, the website counts tries from each internet address for one hour. That count is deleted automatically after the hour.
We delete the whole waitlist after the launch email goes out. To be removed sooner, email jcsizmadi@gmail.com and we’ll delete your address.
This website
This website serves its fonts, images and video from the same site. It has no analytics, advertising, accounts or third-party embeds. Its one form is the launch waitlist.
The website is hosted by Vercel. When you visit, Vercel receives technical request information such as your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser and the time, to deliver and protect the site. Vercel keeps operational logs under its own settings and policies. The app does not talk to this website.

Contacting support
Email jcsizmadi@gmail.com for help. Support requests should come from a parent or guardian. Please don’t include sensitive information or personal information about a child.
Support emails go directly to the developer’s Gmail inbox. Google processes and stores your email address, message and any attachments as part of providing Gmail.
We use support emails only to answer your question and fix problems. We delete support emails and attachments within 90 days after your request is resolved, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. You can ask for earlier deletion by emailing jcsizmadi@gmail.com.
Children’s privacy
Riiiff is made for kids to use with a grown-up in charge. The app keeps everything on the device and has no account, chat or sharing features. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. The waitlist and support are for grown-ups. If you believe a child has sent us an email address or other personal information, contact us at the address above and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use an email address you’ve given us, we’ll tell you before it takes effect.
